Every family has their unique spots, right? You know, those wonderful individuals who liven up your gene pool? I find family history fascinating and I love it when my kids go through our photo albums asking, "Who is this?" so I can tell them about their colorful heritage. So here, in no particular order are a few people who have made me what I am today, persons with whom I share some small portion of my DNA. Some are odd and others are just interesting. 1. In honor of the Oscars this Sunday, I thought I would devote this week to the five films nominated for Best Picture. So far I have reviewed Juno and Michael Clayton. Based on the bestselling novel by Ian McEwan which I have not read, Atonement is a fascinating and complex movie that is beautifully filmed and very-well acted. Despite some of the imagery in the film borders on being over-done and blatantly obvious, the story is nothing short of powerful and extremely thought-provoking. Brion
