Time to hit Cinderella in the head with a lead pipe open thread.
As you can tell I am sick of listening to the National media gush over Davidson. I really hope and expect Wisconsin to put a 20 plus point ass whooping on them tonight. I unfortunately will not be able to watch or listen to the game liveI already have the DVR set I will be at the gymnastics club helping set up for the State meet which we are hosting starting tomorrow and Sunday. So my basketball watching chances will be slim and none till late Sunday night. I really think this group learne

Stephen Curry: Curry in a Hurry
This In Your Face ran in SLAM last year after Stephen Curry had a coming-out party of sorts in the NCAA Tournament. Little did we know that would be but a prelude to what he??d do this year. See you later, Wisconsin?? By Michael Bradley It finally happened in early March. Stephen Curry defeated his old man. Kicked his butt, really. Dell Curry came to Davidson and consented to a shootout. It wasn??t close. But it wasn??t official. ???He said it has to be in the driveway to be the house championship

My not-so fearless precictions
My not-so fearless precictions ??? By Zak Friday, March 28, 2008 at 12:56 pm No Comments ? I think last night told us a lot about the college basketball teams still vying for their shot at a national championship North Carolina is really, really good. Among my conclusions and a few predictions for tonight: As great as Stephen Curry is- and for my money, the most exciting to player to watch in this year??s tourney, including Michael Beasley- giving Bo Ryan and his Wisconsin staff

March Madness Predictions
Not that anyone cares, but here are my predictions for tonight's NCAA Men's basketball games. I predict that: Wisconsin falls to Davidson just as a "fuck you" to Fayyad. Michigan State beats Memphis. The second biggest upset. Villanova almost beats Kansas. Texas downs Stanford handily. More generally, I predict my pre-tourney bracket finishes in the middle of my online group, which is made up mostly of activists too busy to even watch any of the games. I also predict that KABOB3rs reg

Filed under: Wisconsin Basketball, Big Ten Basketball, Mid-Majors Basketball, March Madness, Charlotte, Milwaukee, davidson basketball, Midwest The Davidson Wildcats are going to the Elite 8. Yes, I really wrote that. The small school just outside of Charlotte will face the winner of the Kansas-Villanova game in the Midwest Regional Final on Sunday. Davidson continued to shoot well ... knocking down 12 three pointers in 24 attempts and nearly 50% total from the field. Stephen Curry led the

Tonight??s NCAA tourney action UPDATE: DAVIDSON WINS!!
There are four games total this evening, but the one North Carolinians will be most keen on watching is the 7:10 game, which sees the 10 Davidson Wildcats take on 3 Wisconsin. Davidson is a North Carolina town that is about a 20-25 minute drive from Charlotte. Needless to say, the town is going absolutely wild more here about the ???cats?? making it to the Sweet 16. The population in Davidson? Under 10,000. A blip on the map, but filled with people with crazy about their college basketball tea
